About
Established in 1995
Penwood miniature railway began as a hobby
by a group of like-minded friends.
Penwood Miniature Railway
Experience the nostalgia of travelling on a steam railway through a rural property.
All engines are working replicas of the original trains.
A fun day out for big and little kids!
The miniature railway is open to the public on the first Sunday of each month.
Entry to the property is 250 metres north of Croziers Road, on the Eastern side. Look for the red letterbox and Penwood Miniature Railway sign.
Please wear covered footwear as all passengers must have footwear that covers the toes!
We look forward to your visit.

Located just 2 klms south of the the township of Berry, NSW Penwood Railway winds itself through small picturesque acreage. A lake is crossed via the twin arch bridge. Two tracks enable multiple engines to operate in the miniature railway, providing guests with optional ride opportunities. A purchased ticket allows users all day access to facilities.
The Club aspect involves dedicated members who have a real passion for their hobby. All the club’s trains require maintenance and this is where members ingratiate themselves in model construction and care. Members also provide the volunteers to open the train park and give families the opportunity to ride these original replica trains.
